A Bavarian record of Protostropharia dorsipora, notes on the taxonomy of the genus Protostropharia, and a commented determination key

Summary: A recent Bavarian collection of Protostropharia dorsipora is described in detail. Macro- and microscopical description, fotographs, and micro-drawings are presented. The potential abundance and distribution of Protostropharia dorsipora in Bavaria is discussed, a taxonomic and ecologic overview of the genus Protostropharia is compiled. A determination key of the genus, including non-European taxa, is presented. New combinations are proposed: Protostropharia alcis subsp. austrobrasiliensis, Protostropharia alcis subsp. punjabensis, Protostropharia ochraceoviridis.

Phaeosphaeriopsis glaucopunctata, a parasite of Ruscus

Abstract: Based on a recent collection of Phaeosphaeriopsis glaucopunctata from Nuremberg, Middle Franconia, its macro- and microscopical characters are described in detail and completed by line drawings. The parasitic life cycle, the distribution and abundance, and nomen-clatural problems are discussed. The new combination Phaeosphaeriopsis vectis is introduced.

Selection of rare Bavarian plant parasitic micro fungi

Summary: In this paper six collections of rare phytoparasitic microfungi, found in Lower Fran-conia and Upper Bavaria (Bavaria) in 2013 are described in detail, both with photographs and macroscopic and microscopic characteristics: Antherospora hortensis on Muscari armeniacum and Anthracoidea echinospora on Carex acuta are new for Bavaria, Synchytrium anomalum on Adoxa moschatellina, Microbotryum lagerheimii on Silene viscaria, Puccinia isiacae on Ligustrum vulgare and Uromyces cristatus on Silene viscaria are affirmations for a current occurrence of these fungi in Bavaria.
